I may be missing this, but I don’t see it in Notification email Templates, in browsing our OJS installation, or in the code on GitHub. It seems like a plugin could do it, but I haven’t found one of those, either.
Our Journal would like to send an email notification to a submission’s primary author each time a galley item is downloaded. If the journal is Open Access, I presume the downloader would be anonymous; if a reader must be registered to download, then that reader user account information could be included in the email notification to the author.
Does this (plugin) exist somewhere? If not, is this a useful Feature Request?
